Villards Donate Print for Raffle

Drawing December 4th

Boothbay Peninsula Ch’Art, an original hand-printed woodcut of a map of the Boothbay Peninsula will be this year’s prized raffle item. It was donated by Philippe and Kim Villard of Villard Studios in support of this year’s fundraising efforts. The block was carved by Philippe and printed in watercolors on rag paper by Kim. This print is part of a collection of color woodcuts developed by Villard Studios depicting different environments of the Boothbay Peninsula. The woodcut will be on display in the museum this June and raffle tickets will be on sale from June to December. Tickets are $1 each or a book of 6 for $5.  The winning ticket will be drawn at the museum during the Harbor Lights Festival on December 4th. Tickets may be purchased at the museum, and at various fairs, festivals and fundraisers between now and then.  You may also purchase tickets by mail.
