'Tis the season, here at the Boothbay Region Historical Society!

Please join us on Saturday, December 1, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at 72 Oak Street in Boothbay Harbor for our holiday open house! Come enjoy the museum with its holiday decorations and nautical themed tree! There will be refreshments in the dining room and great offerings in our gift shop--including books, maps, note cards, tote bags and the perfect stocking stuffer--our new photograph magnet! Remember members receive 10% off!

The open house is also an opportunity for visitors to sneak a peek at our upcoming exhibit featuring Chesebro Dairy and other dairy operations formerly active in the Boothbay region.  Come add your recollection of dairy deliveries to our memory book!

Don’t miss out on your chance to win our raffle! This year, the winner will choose between a signed and numbered print of local shipyards by Earle Barlow and a pair of hardcover romances set in the region and published around 1900. The drawing will be on December 15, just in time for the holidays!
