When may I visit?

Hours: Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Is there an admissions charge?

No, a visit to the museum is free. However, we welcome donations.

Is the society a membership organization?

Yes, we encourage people to become dues-paying members.

Is there a guided tour inside the museum?

No, you're welcome to move through the exhibit rooms at your own rate.

How old is the society?

We were founded in 1967; we have been at two prior locations; and we found our permanent home on Oak Street in 1984.

How can I become a volunteer?

Come to the historical society and tell us the good news! Your interests will be fitted to the jobs at hand, whether it is in buildings and grounds, archival collections, or any of the many activities we carry on.

Do you accept artifact contributions?

Yes, almost everything we have has been given to us. We focus specifically on items of local significance.
